About these prices
We publish these prices so you can see what routine care costs before you commit to a practice, not after.
Veterinary care isn't always predictable. The prices below are for standard procedures on a straightforward case. Where your animal's condition, size, temperament or response to treatment means more work is needed, the cost will differ — and we'll tell you before we go ahead.
We give you a written estimate before any treatment likely to cost £500 or more. You'll get an itemised bill for everything we do. If the cost looks like it will exceed the estimate, we'll contact you first.
Vintage Vet Practice is independently owned. We are not part of a veterinary group.

Out-of-hours consultation From £80.00
Telephone or video consultation From £65.00
Call out consultation From £150.00
We are open 24 hours a day, every day. Out-of-hours consultations are carried out by our own team at our own premises - you are not referred to a third-party emergency provider.
Out-of-hours rates apply between 18:00 and 09:00, and all day on Sundays and bank holidays.
Neutering prices depend on your pet's species and weight.

You are entitled to ask us for a written prescription so you can buy your animal's medication elsewhere. Medications may be significantly cheaper from an online pharmacy than from our in-house dispensary.
Online retailers of veterinary medicines must be registered with the Veterinary Medicines Directorate. You can check any retailer against the VMD Register at gov.uk before you buy.
